Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy
Securing scientific knowledge for future generations.
Official Preservation Systems
BioNatura Journal ensures the long-term preservation of its digital content through established international networks, guaranteeing that research remains accessible even in the event of unforeseen technical failures.
PKP PN
We utilize the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve all published volumes. This system provides a decentralized and secure archive for OJS journals.
LOCKSS & CLOCKSS
Our repository is integrated with LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, allowing international library networks to create permanent archives of the journal for long-term survival.
Complementary Archives
In addition to our official preservation networks, BioNatura Journal utilizes major academic platforms and web archives to ensure maximum discoverability and traceability:
- Academia.edu – All articles are shared and preserved to ensure wide global dissemination. BioNatura on Academia.edu
- Wayback Machine (Internet Archive) – We maintain a historical record of our digital presence through periodic snapshots of our website. Archive History
