SCAM ALERT or Phishing Emails – When Is an Email Sent from Bionatura journal?
Authors may receive fraudulent emails requesting them to pay an invoice, review/submit a paper, click links or open attachments. The sender might try to impersonate legitimate Bionatura journal members of our editorial team, who have already been in contact with you before.
Please note that emails requesting any payment or collaboration with Bionatura journal will be sent exclusively from a “@bionaturajournal.com” address.
Here are some tips to avoid scams claiming they are a service from Bionatura journal:
- Never click on suspicious links (hover your mouse over the link to check the real destination);
- Look closely at email addresses and websites: They often make small changes to known sites (e.g., bionaturajournal.org instead of bionaturajournal.com);
- Beware of “urgent” emails, and emails asking to update your password;
- Never pay any invoices that are not sent from @bionaturajournal.com – please double-check the spelling of the address.
BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SCAM ATTEMPTS - PLEASE READ
Recently, there has been an increase in scam attempts against Bionatural authors. Please be vigilant if someone contacts you from a fake email address posing as a Bionatura staff member and proposes to charge you for publishing in Bionatura, expediting the peer review process or receiving the acceptance letter before the peer review is bogus.
If you receive an email from
revistabionatura@aol.com
revitabionaturi@googl.com
biorev@hotmail.com
are all false, as are all the services they offer.
If you receive an email or notification from these emails or sites,
editor@revistabionatura.org
https://revistabionatura.org/
https://bionaturajournal.org
It has nothing to do with www.bionaturajournal.com, so your paper will not be published.
- Bionatura will always contact you from an email information@bionaturajournal.com, or editor@bionaturajournal.com, in particular cases of problems with your email address.
- Scammers may attempt to contact the corresponding author and payer to request payment or additional payment. Do not be scammed; Bionatura does not charge for publishing or downloading open-access articles. See Publications Fee on our page.
If you have questions or need to follow the proper instructions, please contact us at editor@bionaturajournal.com.
